This is a representative case study illustrating Chrisferry's road rehabilitation capability. Verified project records — exact dates, contract value and client reference — should be supplied by the client.
Roads in the North-Western Province take a hard life: heavy mining traffic, a long rainy season and the red lateritic soils that wash and rut quickly. This corridor had reached the point where pot-holing and surface failure were slowing traffic and raising vehicle damage.
Chrisferry mobilised a road crew, graders and water bowsers to bring the carriageway back to a safe, all-weather standard. Failed sections were cut out and patched, the surface was re-graded and compacted, and drainage was cleared so water leaves the road instead of sitting in it.
The work followed our standard civil method — a job-safety analysis before mobilisation, daily toolbox talks, and quality checks at each stage — so the client received a corridor that will hold up through the next wet season.
