Who we are
A decade of doing the heavy work properly.
Chrisferry Contractors and General Suppliers Limited is a Zambian-owned mining and construction support services company. What started in 2013 as a specialised labour-hire contractor has grown into a fully integrated contractor — earth-moving, drilling, civil works, building and shutdown support, under one accountable entity.
That growth was earned on real sites, in one of the most demanding corners of Zambian industry. Our model reduces contractor fragmentation: clients get labour, equipment and engineering from one team that owns the outcome.

Founded in Solwezi
Chrisferry begins as a specialised labour-hire contractor — competent, safety-ready crews, mobilised fast.
- 2014
The FQM partnership begins
Chrisferry starts supplying workforce to First Quantum Minerals — a relationship that continues to this day.

From labour hire to integrated services
Earth-moving equipment supply, drilling, civil works and shutdown support are added alongside the founding capability.

Where does Chrisferry Contractors operate?
Our head office and plant yard are in Solwezi, North-Western Province. We mobilise crews and equipment across the North-Western Province and the Copperbelt, and can deploy nationally for the right project.
What size of contract can Chrisferry take on?
With a fleet of more than 70 plant units, in-house civil engineers and a scalable labour-hire workforce, we deliver everything from focused plant-hire engagements to multi-phase civil and mining-support contracts.
Is Chrisferry a registered and compliant contractor?
Yes. We are registered with PACRA, the ZRA and the National Council for Construction, our civil work is led by an EIZ-registered engineer, and we are confirmed compliant with the Employment Code Act No. 3 of 2019.
