About the role
Chrisferry is looking for experienced plant operators to join our operations team. You will operate excavators, dozers or motor graders on civil works, road and mining-support sites — safely, accurately and to programme.
What you'll do
- Operate assigned earth-moving plant to the required standard and output
- Carry out pre-start inspections and report defects promptly
- Work to the site method statement and the daily job-safety analysis
- Keep your machine clean, fuelled and maintained between shifts
- Take part in toolbox talks and follow all site safety procedures
What you'll bring
- 3–5 years' operating experience on earth-moving plant
- A valid operator's certification for the relevant machine class
- A strong, demonstrable commitment to safe working
- Reliability, and willingness to work to a production schedule
