About the role
Chrisferry operates under a zero-harm philosophy, and our HSE Officers are how that philosophy reaches the ground. You will run safety on active sites and help sustain a culture of continuous improvement.
What you'll do
- Deliver safety inductions and lead daily toolbox talks
- Carry out risk assessments and job-safety analysis for site tasks
- Monitor equipment inspection and maintenance compliance
- Support environmental protection and waste-management practices
- Investigate incidents and drive corrective actions
What you'll bring
- 3–5 years' HSE experience, ideally on mining or heavy civil sites
- A recognised health and safety qualification
- Knowledge of Zambian OHS and environmental requirements
- The confidence to stop work when safety demands it
